It's so easy to fall in this trivial game of "life" simply because we lose faith in our own strength. What I've learned from this quote is that I possess a hidden determination to fulfill the destiny in which Christ has placed before me. Eventhough it was never promised that this journey would be easy, dusting yourself off and getting back up counteracts the expected...and that's what we live for together.

I love you baby and I'm so proud of the man that you've become. Never stop believing in yourself and your mission that God has placed before you. You were chosen to step out despite your introverted personality...and that has made all the difference.

From the comment, "I also liked how you tried to use the gospel of Luke to say that people shouldn’t judge you because of what you wrote."

I really don't care whether man or a woman judges me. I used Luke to express how homosexual persons, and other sinners, are JUDGED by others claiming to be "righteous."

Dear Ben?

What is your email address? Do I know you? My blog on homosexuality was not intended to defend the act of homosexuality per se, but rather to defend the homosexual person from hateful persons like yourself? I'm not sure if I even know you, but if I do, I wish you would be clear on here who this actually is. I allow comments on my blog to allow folks to enter into conversation about these difficult issues. I do not allow comments to be critical of the author or even, as you seem to do, attack the author on unfounded grounds. If there is a problem with me personally, I'd prefer it not be directed here in a comment to a post. You have twisted my intentions and attacked my character. I don't appreciate your assassination of my character. I don't even know you, and I'm most certain that you must not really know me either.

Dear Ryan,
This is a comment on your homosexuallity blog. I am ABSOLUTLY ASTOUNDED that you call yourself a pastor. You took a biblical oath (Matt. 23:20-22) as well as an oath to your church to preach the word of God and to lead a Godly life. So how can you say that God doesn't mention homosexuallity in the Bilbe where it clearly states in Romans 1:16-32 Gods position on homosexuallity. What kind of Godly pastor would even DEFEND homosexuallity let alone say it is alright under the eyes of God? I am curious as to just where you got your pastoral doctrine, as well as your congregation because I hope that none of them believe your INSANE view of the bible. I also could not believe that you think that just visiting someones family in a morgue makes you a good pastor and is helping to futher your "ministry." You are acting just like the pharisees of the New Testimnet who thought by just showing their faces in public religous events they were futhering the word of God. (Matt.23) If you want to futher the word of God, try changing your sermons and your blogs and actually try preaching the correct word of God for a change. I also liked how you tried to use the gospel of Luke to say that people shouldn't judge you because of what you wrote. THEY WERE PROVING THAT YOUR BLOG ON HMOSEXUALLITY WAS WRONG AND WE COULDN"T BELIEVE THAT A SO CALLED PASTOR BELIEVES WHAT YOU BELIEVE!! If you want you can e-mail me and I can lead you back to rightousness for I feel like you are acting just like it says in Matt. 24:4-6.

Mr. Incredible,

OK, I'll make a judgment: to be such a biblical literalist, you sure take a lot of liberties with a given text...

Unitarianism and Universalism necessarily merged in '61 because of the undeniable commonalities. Having said that, it also follows that the Unitarian Universalist Church, because of its descent from the two, can make claim upon the U.S. Presidents listed above.

What is important here for this blogger is that the Presidents were not Fundamentalist Christians or Evangelical. In other words, many of our founding fathers were not "orthodox" according to that faction in the body of Christ.

My comment in no way validates the actions of the man, who took the live of men and women that were created in the image of God.

For the fun of saying it...

We have never had a “Unitarian Universalist” Presidents because the two (Unitarianism and Universalism) didn’t combine until 1961!

John Adams did in fact become a “Unitarian” as an adult (and raised his son John Adams Unitarian), he did not believe in the divinity of Christ, but he was not a deist. While Jefferson on the other hand was NOT a Unitarian, he was a “deist.”

Taft was brought up in the Unitarian church and remained a faithful “Unitarian” his entire life. Whereas Millard Fillmore was raised Presbyterian and didn’t became a “Unitarian” until in later life.

Unitarian Universalist do not necessarily identify themselves as Christians nor do they necessarily subscribe to Christian beliefs.

My heart goes out to the families of those who lost loved ones in this tragedy. May the One true God of the Bible provide comfort in this situation …
