Tony Campolo: Religious Leaders Propose a Way Out of Iraq

The Democrats want a timetable. The Republicans want to “stay the course.” Neither of these is a solution to the problem of Iraq. A group of religious leaders has come together with perhaps a euphoric solution, yet it would bring home U.S. troops and still not abandon the nation to civil war and probable genocide. If only the politicians in Washington would lay aside their partisan politics and come up with a real solution that would be in the best interest of both the United States and Iraq, as well as the entire Middle East and world.
